Radar: 20th-26th October 2008 |

Watch (or READ) as we spew our weekly internet favourites out at you in an alphabetically organised list with descriptions, hyperlinks and very sexy mindwaves.
- Buttonhead - 'Beardfire' [stream] - myspace.com/buttonhead
Buttonhead are glee for those who have problems with twee. Like me; I don't like twee. Yeah, they're joyous, but not to an annoying degree. The whirlwind structures of their songs will simultaneously confuse AND please you. Good shit!
- Copy Haho - 'You Are My Coal Mine' [stream] - myspace.com/copyhaho
Check out the new single by this week's Linear Notes stars, Copy Haho and understand why we love them so much.
- Daniel Eatock - 'Picture of the Week (Project series)' [photos] -eatock.com
We really dig Daniel Eatock's quirky design and we're especially enjoying the witty 'Picture of the Week' series which features pictures of everyday scenarios that most people would walk past, and only some would see the joke within and maybe perform a quick exhale/snort from their nose. But Daniel Eatock takes a picture, puts a witty caption underneath it and shares it with everyone to enjoy and interact with the little subtle jokes hidden amongst the everyday suburban life that the lucky or unlucky (depending on how you see it) unknowingly encounter. Have I taken it too far yet?
- Ice, Sea, Dead People - 'There Is A Ghost' [stream] - myspace.com/iceseadeadpeople
A biased inclusion, but what the hell. Listen to the b-side of the 7" we released with Ice, Sea... last year. A new record is coming soon from the art-punk trio, so keep your eyes open...
- Kong - 'If I See Your Face (Improvisation)' [stream] - myspace.com/kongdom
More sexy noise from Manchester's Kong who also have another 7" coming out. This track's a less structured improv/jam that still sounds really fucking nice. Enjoy!
- Male Bonding - 'Tuff' [stream] - myspace.com/malebonding
Distorted, fun, echo-y punk from PRE side-project, Male Bonding. 'Tuff' has got loads of stand out moments, though we'd recommend any song from the profile. If you were lucky you would've got their split cassette with Pens & Graffiti Island...!
- Daito Manabe - 'electric stimulus to face -test3' [video] - youtube.com
A video of a man with electrodes on his face, designed to twitch to music. A little crazy.
- New Yorker - 'Trapped In An Elevator for 41 hours' [video] - newyorker.com
From Matthew Benn: "This video almost made me have a panic attack".
