Ahh, blogs are hard work when you're actually living your life. Tough stuff. Anyway, December. End of year. Not much happening except the triumphant confetti-blast of traditional 'end of year' polls, desperate to catch your attention. What have you missed? What do you agree with? Etc. We've got our own special top 10 coming soon. Oh yes. We've even made sure that all the records we mention have reviews for them so you can read about WHY they are actually good. Stay tuned... (EDIT: Our top 10 albums list is up now!)
In other news though, DIRTY's next release is shaping up nicely. We're digitally releasing Ice, Sea, Dead People's next single. Unfortunately I can't praise it that much since it's my own band and all but whatever. It's coming out in March, 2009. The actual 7" record is getting a release from indepdendent label, Buyyourself, who are destined to make 2009 their formidable year. There's going to be a very nice release party for this with a few other bands who are also releasing records at the same time. It'll take part at Bloomsbury Bowling Alley in London. More info on that later though.
2008 was largely quite an up-and-down year. 2009 will be better. It has to be.
